Age Limit

General: No age limit for first-time PG admission in University Teaching Departments.

For Second PG Programme: Students who have passed one regular PG examination from CDLU campus shall not be allowed to take admission to another PG Programme as a regular student after 32 years of age.

Relaxation (5 years): Female/SC/DSC/ST/BC/DAP/EWS/Benchmark Disability candidates.

Age considered on: Last date of submission of application (15th July 2026).


Qualification (Eligibility)

General: 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Reserved (SC/DSC/ST/DAP): 40% marks in aggregate (minimum pass marks).

Relaxation: 5% relaxation for Differently Abled candidates (5 out of 100).

Selection Process

  1. Online Application: Candidates must fill and submit the online application form on the university portal.
  2. Merit List Preparation: Merit list will be prepared based on marks in the qualifying examination, weightage (up to 10 points), and State Reservation Policy.
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Mandatory for M.P.Ed., M.A. Yoga, and PG Diploma in Yoga programmes.
  4. Document Verification: Candidates must visit the department with original documents for verification.
  5. Fee Deposit: Admission is confirmed only after online fee payment.

Fee Structure (Semester-wise)

Other Fees:

  • Examination Fee: ₹1000 per semester (for regular students).
  • Library Security: ₹1000 (refundable after completion of the programme).
  • Continuation Fee: ₹500 (for students seeking admission to the next programme in the same university).

Tuition Fee Concessions:

  • Siblings: Younger brother/sister gets 50% tuition fee concession.
  • Girl Child: 50% concession for only girl/only two girl children.
  • University Employees & Dependents: 50% concession on total fee (excluding exam/registration).
  • Divyang Students: Concession equal to the percentage of disability.
  • Dependents of Leprosy Affected Persons: Completely free education.

Attendance & Re-Admission Rules

  • Minimum Attendance: 75% is mandatory (theory and practical separately). For Law students, it is 70%.
  • Condonation: Dean/Chairperson can condone 10% shortage. Vice-Chancellor can condone an additional 15% (maximum).
  • Strike-off Rule: If a student remains absent for 7 continuous working days without valid reason, their name is struck off the rolls.
  • Re-admission Fines: 1st instance: Up to ₹2,000 + per-day fine. 2nd instance: Up to ₹3,000 fine.
  • Attendance Marks: Students get marks for attendance (2 marks for 60%, 3 for 61-75%, 4 for 76-85%, 5 for above 85%).

  5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned photo, signature, and Caste certificate (if applicable).
  6. Pay Application Fee: Pay the fee online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or QR code.
  7. Fill Remaining Details: Complete the form with address, educational qualifications, etc.
  8. Upload Scanned Documents: Upload all relevant self-attested documents.
  9. Final Submit: Review the entire form and click on "Submit".

Important Rules & Policies

  • Anti-Ragging: Zero tolerance. Strict action including expulsion and fine up to ₹2.5 Lakhs.
  • Prohibition: Smoking, drinking, and consumption of prohibited drugs are strictly prohibited on campus.
  • Migration Certificate: Students from other universities must submit the migration certificate by 30th November 2026 (without fine).
  • Registration Return: The department sends the Registration Return (RR) to the R&S Branch to generate PRN.
  • Foreign Nationals: Up to 25% supernumerary seats are allocated. Foreign students must have a valid passport and student visa.
  • Academic Bank of Credits (ABC): Mandatory for all students. Register at www.abc.gov.in.
  • Legal Jurisdiction: Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Sirsa, Haryana.
