Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released recruitment notification for Punjab Civil Services (Executive Branch) for the year 2026. Total 260 vacancies (210 for Register A-II and 50 for Register C) for Group A & B serving employees of Punjab Government. Eligibility includes 8 years continuous service, confirmation, graduation, Punjabi up to matric, and age under 54 years as on 01.11.2025. Selection based on Screening Test (100 marks, 50% weightage), Length of Service (15 marks), ACRs (20 marks), and Interview (15 marks). Online applications start immediately. Age Limit (as on 01.11.2025)
Maximum Age: 54 years (as per Rule 4(4) for Register A-II and Rule 6(4) for Register C of Punjab Civil Services Rules).
Note: Age is calculated on the cut-off date i.e., 1st November 2025. No relaxation mentioned for departmental candidates.
Educational Qualification
Essential:
- Graduate (Bachelor's Degree) from a recognized university.
- Must have passed Punjabi language up to Matric level or its equivalent.
Service Eligibility: Confirmed hand with 8 years continuous service under Government of Punjab as on 01.11.2025.

Scribe Facility & Compensatory Time for PwD Candidates
Compensatory Time: 20 minutes per hour for candidates with 40%+ disability (Section 2(r) RPwD Act 2016) and Section 2(s) candidates subject to UDID submission by 30.07.2026.
Scribe Facility (if desired):
- Automatic: Blindness, Locomotor Disability (Both Arms Affected), Cerebral Palsy.
- Others with 40%+ disability: Need certificate from CMO/Civil Surgeon (Annexure E).
- Section 2(s) (<40% disability with writing difficulty): Need certificate from Multi-Member Medical Authority (Annexure F).
- Scribe Qualification: One step below Graduation.
- Submission: UDID card, medical certificate, Scribe Proforma (Annexure G), Affidavit (Annexure H) by hand or email to supdt.exam@ppsc.gov.in by 30.07.2026.

- Step 3: Take printout of duly filled and submitted Online Application Form
- Step 4: Submit hard copy (printout) along with documents (Annexure A, B, C, certificates) through Proper Channel (Head of Department) to PPSC office by 30/07/2026 (5:00 PM)
Important: Failure to submit hard copy through Proper Channel by last date SHALL result in rejection of candidature.
