Brief Information
Airports Authority of India (AAI), Northern Region has released a notification (Advt. No. 02/2026/APPRENTICE/GRADUATE/DIPLOMA/ITI/NR) for the engagement of Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26. A total of 133 vacancies are available across various disciplines. Candidates who are domiciles of specific Northern Region states/UTs and have passed the qualifying examination in or after 2022 are eligible to apply. The last date for application is 22nd March 2026. Key details are provided below.

Qualification & Eligibility
- Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: Full-time (regular) 4-year degree in Civil/Electrical/Electronics/CS/IT/Mechanical/Automobile Engg. or BCA, recognized by AICTE.
- Diploma Apprentices: Full-time (regular) 3-year diploma in Civil/Electrical/Electronics/CS/IT/Mechanical/Automobile Engg. or Computer Application, recognized by AICTE.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: ITI/NCVT certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA) or Steno trade from institutions recognized by AICTE.
- Year of Passing: Passed the qualifying degree/diploma/certificate in or after 2022.
- Domicile: Candidates must be domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, or Uttarakhand.

Training Locations
Apprenticeship training will be at various airports/establishments in Northern Region, including: Jodhpur, Kangra, Kanpur, Khajuraho, Kishangarh, Kullu, Kushinagar, Leh, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Meerut, Moradabad, Pantnagar, Pathankot, Pithoragarh, Prayagraj, Safdarjung, Shravasti, Shimla, Srinagar, Udaipur, Varanasi, and various offices in New Delhi.
Note: Allocated station will be final; no change will be entertained later.
Selection Process
- Selection is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- In case of equal percentage, seniority is determined by date of birth, then date of passing.
- CGPA/CPI grades must be converted to percentage as per university norms.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for Document Verification & Interview via registered email.
- Final selection is subject to document verification, medical fitness, and interview.
Important Conditions / Disqualification
- Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act are NOT eligible.
- Candidates who terminated apprenticeship midway or are pursuing training elsewhere are NOT eligible.
- Candidates with 1 year or more job experience after qualification are NOT eligible.
- Applying for more than one discipline will lead to rejection.
- No regular employment is guaranteed; this is only a training program.

- For ITI Trade Apprentices: www.apprenticeshipindia.org (NAPS portal)
- After registration, search for the establishment: "Airports Authority of India -RHQ NR, New Delhi" (Establishment Code: NDLSWC000002 for BOAT / E05200700101 for NAPS).
- Click on the 'Apply' button. Ensure the success message is shown.
- No application fee is charged.
- Keep a printout of the final submitted form for future reference.
