Brif Information
Border Security Force (BSF) has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens (male and female) for recruitment to 549 Constable (General Duty) posts under Sports Quota. These are Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial Group ‘C’ posts, initially temporary but likely to be made permanent. The posts carry All India service liability, and selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India or abroad. Selection Process & Sports Qualification
Selection under BSF Constable (GD) Sports Quota is based on evaluation of sports achievements secured during the last two years from the closing date of application. Only the highest medal/position obtained by the candidate will be considered for awarding marks.

Order of Preference:
1) International medal winners (Gold → Silver → Bronze → Participation).
2) National-level medal winners up to 3rd position.
In case of tie, preference will be given to candidates of Youth Olympic Games.
Selection Process
- Document Verification
Check and verify submitted educational, sports, and identity certificates. - Sports Qualification Assessment
Evaluation of sports achievements and performance as per BSF Sports Quota norms. - Physical Standard Test (PST)
Measurement of height, chest, and other physical standards. - Medical Examination
Medical fitness test conducted by the authorised medical board. - Final Merit List
Selection based on sports merit and overall eligibility.
