Age Limit (As on Closing Date)

Minimum: 21 Years — Maximum: 27 Years

Relaxation: 5 Years for DSC/OSC, BCA/BCB, and EWS categories (as per Govt. Instruction 22/06/2021-1GS-III dated 25.03.2022).

Qualification

  • Essential: Graduation from any recognized university or its equivalent.
  • Language: Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
  • Equivalency: Diploma courses under Technical Education Dept., Haryana equivalent to 10+2 of Art Stream only (as per Appendix-B).
  • Note: Candidates claiming higher qualification in the same line will be considered provisionally subject to acceptance by the indenting department.

Selection Process

  1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Qualifying in nature – Height as per category norms.
  2. Physical Screening Test (PST): Qualifying in nature – Running test (Female: 1.0 Km in 6 mins, Male: 2.5 Km in 12 mins).
  3. Written Examination: Offline OMR-based – 100 MCQs, 100 Marks, 1 Hour 45 Minutes duration.
  4. Document Scrutiny: Verification of uploaded certificates and documents.
  5. Merit List & Recommendation: Based on written exam marks (plus NCC score if applicable).

Note: Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) or any other superior technology shall be used for reliability of physical tests.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: General: 50% • Reserved (Vertical/Horizontal): 40%.

Negative Marking: No negative marking for wrong answers. However, 1 mark will be deducted for every unattempted question unless the 5th circle (Not Attempted) is filled.

Note: Syllabus weightage is tentative and may vary. Questions in Parts A, B, D, E & F are of graduation level; Part-C (Quantitative Aptitude) is of 10th standard level.


Reservation Categories (Bonafide Haryana Residents Only)

  • BCA (Non-Creamy Layer) & BCB (Non-Creamy Layer): Certificate issued on or after 01.04.2026 and on or before closing date. Proforma as per Annexure-I.
  • EWS Category: Income & Asset Certificate issued on or after 01.04.2026 and on or before closing date. Family income below ₹8 Lakh/annum. Proforma as per Annexure-II A or II B.
  • DSC/OSC: Deprived Scheduled Castes & Other Scheduled Castes certificate issued after 13.11.2024 and on or before closing date. Sub-categorization of SCs as per Appendix-H.
  • Ex-Serviceman: Benefit as per Appendix-I. Eligibility certificate for family members issued/renewed on or after 25.06.2025 and on or before closing date.
  • DFF (Dependent of Freedom Fighter): Benefit as per Appendix-J (2% of total advertised posts).

Note: Reserved category candidates from other states will be considered as General category. Benefit of reservation will not be given to candidates who fall in the Creamy Layer.


Documents to be Uploaded (Mandatory)

  • Scanned copies of all educational qualification certificates (Matriculation onwards).
  • Latest colored photograph with white background – clearly mentioning date and name of the candidate.
  • Scanned signature of the candidate.
  • Haryana Bonafide Resident Certificate (for reserved category candidates).
  • Valid category certificate (BCA/BCB/EWS/DSC/OSC/ESM/DFF) as per the prescribed proforma and date range.
  • Discharge Certificate/Book (for ESM candidates).
  • Undertaking as per Annexure-V.
  • Additional documents as applicable (e.g., Eligibility Certificate for Family Member of ESM).

Important: Only documents uploaded with the online application form will be considered for scrutiny. No additional documents will be accepted later.


Application Process

  1. Read Notification: Carefully read the full advertisement (Advt. No. 06/2026) and all annexures.
  2. Visit Portal: Go to the official HSSC application link: https://adv062026.hrwssc.com.
  3. Login/Register: Use your CET Registration Number (from Advt. No. 01/2025) to log in.
  4. Fill Application: Fill all personal, educational, and category details correctly. Select your post/department preferences carefully.
  5. Upload Documents: Scan and upload all required documents as per the checklist. Ensure both sides of any double-sided certificate are scanned.
  6. Submit & Download: Verify all details before final submission. Take a printout of the final submitted application form and uploaded documents for your records.
  7. No Fee: No application fee is required.

Important: Applications are to be submitted well in advance. No offline applications will be accepted. Changes after final submission are not allowed. For correction/edit, use the window from 01 July to 02 July 2026.


Post Preference Guidelines

  • Candidates must fill post/department preferences online before submission.
  • Preferences are final and cannot be changed later.
  • A candidate will be considered only for the posts they have opted for.
  • If found ineligible for a preferred post, the candidate will not be considered for subsequent preferences (as they would have been filled by others).
  • Ensure you are eligible for all preferences you choose.

Important Instructions

  • Single Application: Only one application form per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to rejection.
  • Certificate Validity: All certificates must be valid as per the specified date ranges (e.g., BCA/BCB/EWS issued on or after 01.04.2026).
  • OMR Sheet Rules: Use only black/blue ballpoint pen. Do not use pencil, eraser, white fluid, or scratch on the OMR sheet. Such actions will lead to cancellation.
  • Examination Hall: Mobile phones, watches, electronic gadgets, wallets, belts, caps, and any metallic items are strictly prohibited. No arrangement for keeping belongings will be made.
  • Answer Key & Objections: The initial answer key will be published on the website. Objections can be filed within the specified period with a fee of ₹250 per objection (non-refundable).
  • Biometric Verification: Candidates must provide biometric/facial data at the time of examination. Mismatch will lead to cancellation and debarment.
  • Re-evaluation: There is no process for re-evaluation of OMR answer sheets.
  • No Individual Communication: All updates will be published on the HSSC website. Visit regularly.
  • False Information: Furnishing false or incorrect information will lead to candidature cancellation, debarment, and criminal proceedings.

Tie-Breaker Rules

  • Step 1: If two or more candidates have equal aggregate marks (written + skill), the older candidate will be given precedence.
  • Step 2: If the aggregate marks and date of birth are the same, the candidate with higher marks in CET Phase-I (Advt. No. 01/2025) will be considered.

Probable Causes of Rejection

  • More than one application form for a particular post.
  • Incomplete application or not submitted online.
  • No qualification of Hindi/Sanskrit as prescribed.
  • Candidate does not possess the requisite essential qualification on the closing date.
  • Candidate is underage or overage on the closing date.
  • Variation in data in the online application form and original documents.
  • Not uploading the requisite certificate as prescribed.

Action Against Malpractices

  • Debarment Period: 2 to 5 years depending on the severity of the malpractice (e.g., possession of mobile phone, impersonation, cheating, damaging exam infrastructure, etc.).
  • Legal Action: Under the Haryana Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2021.
  • Impersonation: Candidates failing to provide biometric/facial data will be treated as impersonation and will lead to cancellation and debarment.
