Eligibility Criteria (Compassionate Ground Appointment)
Only one dependent family member of the following Assam Rifles personnel is eligible to apply:
- Killed in Action
- Died while in Service
- Discharged from Service on Medical Grounds
- Missing while in Service
Cut-off date for Age Limit: 01 January 2026. Refer official notification for post-wise age limits.
Qualification (Post-Wise)
Educational qualification varies by trade. Candidates must possess the required certificates (Matric, ITI, Diploma, etc.) as per the Qualitative Requirements of each post. Self-attested copies must be submitted with the application.

How to Apply (Offline Mode)
- Download the application format from the official website or prepare as per prescribed format.
- Fill in all details carefully and attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, domicile, caste, technical/ITI/diploma certificates (as applicable), and a photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.).
- Super scribe "APPLICATION FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT" on top of the postal envelope.
