ISRO YUVIKA 2026 – Young Scientist Programme

Brief Information

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced the Young Scientist Programme "YUVIKA" (YUva VIgyani KAryakram) 2026 for Class 9 students. This special programme aims to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science, and Space Applications to younger students. The programme will be conducted across 9 ISRO centres. Interested and eligible students can register online through the official website. All expenses for lodging, boarding, and course material will be borne by ISRO, and travel fare will be reimbursed as per norms.

Eligibility Criteria

Class: Students studying in Class 9 as on January 01, 2026, within India are eligible to apply.
Age: Should be studying in Class 9 (generally age group 13-15 years).
Bonafide Certificate: Students must download the bonafide certificate during registration and get it signed by the Principal of their school.

Financial & Logistics Details

  • Travel Reimbursement: II AC train fare or AC bus fare from nearest Railway Station/Bus terminal to reporting centre and back will be reimbursed on submission of original tickets.
  • Expenses Borne by ISRO: Course material, lodging, and boarding during the entire programme will be borne by ISRO.
  • Note: If student travels by lower class, reimbursement limited to II AC train fare only.

  6. Take a printout of the final submitted form for future reference
