Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released recruitment notification for the posts of ASI (Pharmacist), ASI (X-Ray Technician) & ASI (Lab Technician). Candidates with 10+2 and relevant Diploma/Degree/registration (Pharmacy Act) are eligible. Age limit 18-28 years (relaxation as per rules). Age Limit (as on 07/07/2026)
Minimum: 18 years — Maximum: 28 years (Upper age relaxation: SC/ST +5 years, OBC (NCL) +3 years. For Central Govt departmental candidates: 40 years for Gen/EWS/OBC, 45 years for SC/ST with 3 yrs continuous service.)

Selection Process
- Written Examination (OMR/CBT) – 100 marks, 2 hours, bilingual, no negative marking.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) – Height & Chest measurement.
- Documentation – Verification of original certificates.
- Basic Vocational Aptitude Test (BVAT) – Qualifying in nature.
- Medical Examination (DME/RME) – As per CAPF medical guidelines.
Shortlisting: 5 times the number of vacancies for PST & further stages. Final merit based on written exam marks only.

Important Reservation & Documents
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM reservation as per Govt rules. EWS certificate on or before 07/07/2026.
- OBC candidates must not fall in creamy layer as on closing date.
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Must have relevant trade (Pharmacist/X-Ray/Lab Tech) & discharge medical category “A” or SHAPE-1. Age relaxation: Deduction of military service + 3 years.
- PwD candidates are NOT eligible for this recruitment (explicitly mentioned).
- Tattoo: Only religious symbol/name on left forearm (non-saluting limb), size less than 1/4 of body part.

Medical Standards
As per Uniform Guidelines for CAPFs: No knock knees, flat foot, varicose veins, squint in eyes. Must be in good mental/physical health. Weight proportionate to height & age. Color vision, visual standards as per medical board.
