IRCTC, North Zone has released an official notification for the engagement of Hospitality Monitors on a contract basis for a period of 2 years (extendable by 1 year). Total 92 vacancies. Candidates with B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts), B.Sc. Hotel Management, or MBA (Tourism & Hotel Management) are eligible. Freshers can also apply. Walk-in interview will be held at multiple locations from 03 June 2026 to 24 June 2026. Below are all the complete details.

Maximum for UR: 27 years. Relaxation: SC/ST +5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) +3 years, PwBD +10 years, Ex-Servicemen (Service rendered + 3 years).


Qualification (Full Time, from Recognized University/Institute)

  • B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration (CIHM/SIHM/PIHM affiliated to NCHM&CT/UGC/AICTE/Govt. of India)
  • BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism
  • B.Sc. Hotel Management & Catering Science from UGC/AICTE/Govt. of India/State Govt. recognized university
  • MBA (Tourism & Hotel Management) from UGC/AICTE/Govt. of India/State Govt. recognized university

Scope of Work (Responsibilities)

  • Supervise/monitor food production, quality & services in mobile/static catering units
  • Ensure compliance of company policies & hospitality procedures
  • Manage manpower & materials for catering units
  • Resolve customer/passenger complaints & effective complaint management
  • Collect feedback, analysis & course correction
  • Ensure statutory compliance/regulations
  • Supervise & educate staff in equipment upkeep
  • Coordinate with departments, offices & business partners

Documents Required (Carry Originals + Self-attested copies)

  • 10th class Mark sheet & Certificate
  • 12th class Mark sheet & Certificate
  • Graduation year-wise all Marksheets & Degree/Provisional Certificate (IHM candidates: 6 semesters marksheets + IGNOU consolidated + IGNOU degree)
  • Post-Graduation marksheets & Certificate (if any)
  • All Experience Certificates (chronological order)
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC). OBC must be Non-Creamy Layer & not more than 1-year-old
  • EWS/PwBD Certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof of Identity & Proof of Address
  • Two recent passport size photographs
  • Any other relevant documents

General Information (Important Conditions)

  • Purely contractual – no claim to regular employment.
  • Contract may be terminated with 1 month notice (or immediate if performance unsatisfactory).
  • Only Indian Nationals eligible.
  • Govt/PSU employees require NOC or proper channel.
  • IRCTC reserves right to cancel/amend advertisement anytime.
  • Vacancies may increase/decrease.
  • False information leads to summary termination.
  • Security Deposit: ₹25,000 (DD payable to IRCTC Ltd, New Delhi) for selected candidates.
  • No TA/DA for interview.
  • Computer knowledge (MS Office, report preparation) desirable.
  • Problem-solving ability required.
