Eligible candidates with Diplomas/Degrees in Mining Engineering, 10+2 qualifications, and valid statutory certificates from DGMS (Overman, Mining Sirdar, Surveyor) can apply. Important Note on PwBD Reservation
As per guidelines of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GoI & CIL letter dated 27/09/2024, the posts of Jr. Overman, Mining Sirdar & Surveyor do not fall under the identified list of positions for PwBDs. Hence, reservation for PwBD candidates is not applicable for these three posts. PwBD reservation is applicable only for the posts of Translator and Technician (Pathology).
Age Limit (as on 06/April/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Upper Age Limit for General (UR)/EWS: 30 years
- OBC (NCL): 33 years (30+3)
- SC/ST: 35 years (30+5)
- Ex-Servicemen: Actual service rendered + 3 years
- Departmental Candidates (CIL & Subs.): No upper age limit
- PwBD (for Translator & Technician only): UR-40 years, OBC-NCL-43 years, SC/ST-45 years
Note: The upper age limit of the applicant (except departmental candidates) shall not exceed 56 years on the crucial date.
