Qualification & Experience
Essential:
- ITI Certificate in Cutting and Tailoring / Sewing Technology from a Govt. recognized Industrial Training Institute.
- 02 years experience of working as Tailor in any Govt. / Semi-Govt. Institution / PSU / Autonomous Body.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi / Punjabi / English.
Other Requirement: Certificate of 80 hours training in ICT Skills at the time of appointment.
Physical Fitness & Trade Proficiency
- Must have sound health, mentally and physically fit.
- Weight proportionate to height as per medical standards.
- Must pass a Trade Proficiency Test including ability to operate both automatic and manual sewing machines.

Selection Process
- Written Test (50 Marks): 100 MCQs (0.5 mark each, negative marking of 0.25). Subjects: Cutting & Tailoring, Elementary Arithmetic, General English, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness.
- Trade Proficiency Test (TPT) (50 Marks): Candidates called @ 4 times the number of vacancies per category.
- Document Verification (during TPT).
- Medical Examination (before appointment).
Final Merit: Written Test (50) + TPT (50) = Total 100 Marks.
