Terms & Conditions Summary

• Duration of Service: 4 years engagement as Agniveer (junior most rank).
• Marital Status: Must remain unmarried during 4-year tenure. Dismissal if married.
• Permanent Enrolment: Up to 25% of each batch may be enrolled as sailor (regular cadre) after 4 years based on performance.
• Ex-Servicemen Status: Not eligible after 4 years.
• Pension/Gratuity: No entitlement.
• Release: Not permitted to resign before completion of 4 years except exceptional cases.
