Brief Information
The Indian Army has released a notification for the JAG Entry Scheme 125th Course (April 2027) for unmarried male and female Law Graduates. The Short Service Commission (JAG) Course offers 10 vacancies. Candidates with LLB Degree (minimum 55% aggregate) and CLAT PG 2026 score can apply online from 17 July 2026 to 17 August 2026. SSB interviews will be held in November/December 2026. Training of 49 weeks will commence from April 2027 at Officers Training Academy, Chennai.

Tenure of Engagement: 14 years (Initial period of 10 years extendable by 4 years).

Reserve Liability: Five years + two years voluntary OR up to age of 37 years (women) / 40 years (men).
Army Group Insurance Fund (AGIF): ₹1.25 Crore insurance.
Disability Benefits: ₹25 Lakhs (100% disability) to ₹50,000 (less than 20% disability).
