Age Limit

For Teaching Staff (PGT/TGT/PRT):

Age Group	Experience Requirement
Below 40 years	Fresh Candidates (No teaching experience required)
40 to 55 years	05 years experience mandatory in appropriate category in last 10 years

Note: For some posts (like Head-mistress), maximum age is 55 years (57 years for ESM/teachers from same school).

General Qualification Requirements

1. Minimum 50% marks in qualifying degree (varies by post)
2. B.Ed/D.El.Ed from NCTE recognized institution
3. Proficiency in teaching in English & Hindi medium
4. Knowledge of Computer Application
5. CTET/TET qualified (where applicable)
6. Passing of AWES Online Screening Test (OST) within 2 years of appointment for TGT posts
