There is No Fee for all Category Sports Persons

For all other candidates: 00/-

For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/ Minorities and Economic Backward Classes: 00/-

Age Limit:

Minimum Age Limit: 13 Years (10 Years for Chess Game Players)

Maximum Age Limit: 25 Years

Age Relaxation is Applicable as per rules

Eligibility:

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

be an Indian citizen

be a male or female sportsperson between the ages of 13 and 25

not be receiving any other scholarship from any other sources

Note:-

Applicant age will be determined as of 1 April 2025.

Minimum age in scholarship for Chess is 10 years.

Benefits:

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend, sports kit, and tournament expenses up to a specified limit.

Documents:

A photograph of the applicant

Proof of date of birth

Marksheets/certificates of last qualification

Bonafide certificate from the respective institute

Qualification:

Candidates must have passed the 1st/5th/8th/10th/12th/Degree/UG/PG/Diploma etc. class or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-

Step 3: Navigate to the bottom of the page and click ‘Apply For Scholarship’.

Step 4: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and click ‘Submit’.

Selection Criteria:

Candidates will be selected by BPCL based on an assessment of applicants' performance levels through evaluation methods.

Scholarships will be granted in three categories:

Budding Athlete Engagement (Category Sub junior/Age 13 years & Above and up to 17 Years).

Junior Athlete Engagement (Category Junior/Age 17 years & Above and up to 21 Years).

Elite Athlete Engagement (Category Senior/Age 21 years & Above and up to 25 Years).
